Ritka, nagyméretű (18 × 18 × 34,5 cm) litografált fémdoboz a szegedi paprikagyártás aranykorából.
A „Schwarz E. és Fia – Szeged / E. Schwarz & Sohn” feliratú doboz a híres szegedi paprikagyár exporttermékeihez készült, kétnyelvű (magyar–német) kivitelben.

A dekoráción gazdagon megfestett paprikaágak, parasztlány viseletben, valamint alföldi betakarítási jelenet látható. A hátoldalon az 1906–1908 közötti Bécs, Köln, Temesvár és Pécs kiállítási érmek díszítik, melyek a cég nemzetközi sikereire utalnak.

Ez a darab a megszokott kisméretű fogyasztói dobozoknál jóval nagyobb, így valószínűleg bolti kirakati tárolóként vagy mintadobozként szolgált. A fedélen is részben megmaradt az eredeti paprikaág-motívum.

Állapota korához képest szép, patinás felület, helyenként kopás, de jól olvasható feliratok és színes, karakteres grafika.
Különösen ritka ebben a méretben és állapotban – gyűjtők és ipartörténeti gyűjtemények számára egyaránt értékes darab.
