Aquincum kézzel festett porcelánváza nádas dekorral / Aquincum Hand-Painted Porcelain Vase with Reed Decoration

Különlegesen karcsú, kézzel festett porcelánváza a budapesti Aquincum Porcelángyárból.

Vajszínű felületét barna, okker és füstszürke árnyalatú nádak, díszfüvek és finom növényi sziluettek díszítik. A hosszú nyakat organikusan formált, kétkaréjos száj zárja, amelynek eredeti aranyozása kopásmentesen megmaradt.

An exceptionally elegant hand-painted porcelain vase made by the Aquincum Porcelain Factory in Budapest.

Its warm ivory surface is decorated with slender reeds, ornamental grasses and softly rendered botanical silhouettes in brown, ochre and smoky grey. The elongated neck ends in a distinctive organic two-lobed mouth, finished with its beautifully preserved original gold rim.

The base bears the blue Budapest–Aquincum eagle mark, the Hungarian word “Kézifestés” meaning hand-painted, and a painter’s identification mark. Its modernist shape and restrained decoration suggest a likely 1960s–70s date.

A flawless collector’s piece that looks striking either empty or styled with a few delicate dried stems.
